The Embassy of Italy wishes to bring to your kind notice that the consular visa you have been issued does not automatically guarantee the right to enter the Italian territory. The Italian Immigration Officers are the sole authority who are in a position to grant you the right to enter Italy on your arrival.

Therefore, in order to facilitate immigration formalities, the Embassy of Italy advises that you carry, along with your passport, a copy of all the documents on the basis of which your visa application has been processed. In addition to this, we wish to rimind you that:

1. It is not permitted to carry out working activities, except for those who already have a work permit.;
2. The foreign citizen must report arrival to the nearest Police Station within eight days from your arrival into Italy (if you stay in a hotel, the hotel will do it for you by asking for your passport on your arrival);
3. It is not permitted to enter Italy before the date shown on the visa;
4. It is imperative to leave the Italian territory within the expiry of the visa;
5. Students must report their arrival to the nearest Police Station within eight days from their arrival in to Italy, producing a certificate of enrolment at a university or school.
6. The Permit fo Stay issued by the Italian Police Office (Questura) as an extension of a National Visa, along with his valid national Passport or travel document, will allow the foreign citizen to freely move for a maximum of 90 days in the semester in the other schengen Countrys’ territory
The foreign citizen should report his presence to the police within 3 days upon his arrival in the other schengen Country.

Đại sứ quán Italia xin lưu ý rằng visa ông/bà được cấp không được đảm bảo hoàn toàn quyền vào lãnh thổ nước Italia. Chỉ các nhà chức trách của Italia phụ trách về việc nhập cảnh mới quyết định cho ông/bà quyền vào nước Italia tại thời điểm ông/bà đến Italia .

Để tạo điều kiện làm các thủ tục nhập cảnh được dễ dàng, Đại sứ quán Italia đề nghị ông/bà mang 1 bản copy của tất cả các hồ sơ nộp xin visa. Bên cạnh đó, Đại sứ quán xin lưu ý như sau:

1. Không được phép sang tìm việc làm, trừ những người đã có giấy phép làm việc;
2. Ông/bà phải khai báo tại trụ sở công an gần nhất trong vòng 8 ngày kể từ ngày ông/bà đến Italia (nếu ông/bà ở tại khách sạn, khách sạn sẽ yêu cầu ông/bà trình hộ chiếu);
3. Không được phép vào Italia trước thời hạn ghi trong visa;
4. Phải rời Italia khi visa hết hạn;
5. Sinh viên phải khai báo thời gian đến Italia tại trụ sở công an gần nhất trong vòng 8 ngày kể từ ngày vào Italia và trình diện các chứng chỉ, bằng cấp của trường Đại học hoặc trường phổ thông cơ sở.
6. Giấy phép cư trú do công an ý (Questura) cấp được coi như là visa đã gia hạn, cùng với hộ chiếu hoặc giấy phép đi lại cho phép công dân nước ngoài tự do đi lại trong lãnh thổ các nước Schengen nhiều nhất là 90 ngày trong một khoảng thời gian cho phép.
Công dân nước ngoài phải đến trình diện tại trụ sở công an trong vòng 3 ngày kể từ ngày đến 1 nước khác trong khối Schengen.
