On the occasion of the celebration of the 54th Italian National Day, the Italian Embassy in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam will present the prestigious Chamber Orchestra the “Cameristi Triestini” at the Hanoi Opera House on June, 6th 2000, at 6.30 p.m. The concert directed by Maestro Fabio Nossal will include music by Vivaldi, Baldassare, Geminiani, Marcello. Kaldan, Ranzato, Benatzky and Lehar. Please contact the Italian Embassy in case of request of interview. The “Cameristi Triestini”, founded and conducted by Maestro Fabio Nossal, is a chamber orchestra formed by young musicians, most of whom studied at the “Giuseppe Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste. They play music of the Baroque and Romantic periods. The orchestra, often joined by soloists and choirs, has successfully performed in Italy and abroad under the auspices of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy. Countries visited include: Austria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, France, Hungary, Spain, Luxembourg, Croatia, U.S.A. and Argentina. The “Cameristi Triestini” have often appeared on radio and TV programs and made several CD recordings. Fabio Nossal graduated from the “G. Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste, then studied organ, composition and conducting at the Academia Chigiana in Siena. He had the privilege to work with Riccardo Muti and other famous conductors. As an orchestra and choir conductor, he has performed in Italy and abroad and has been invited on numerous occasions to conduct the State Symphony Orchestra of Moldavia. He is also an Honorary Inspector of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage for the restoration and safeguard of old instruments. Hanoi, May 25th, 2000 |
