THE UNIDO IPO IN ITALY LIAISON OFFICE
The Industrial Promotion Office in Italy has been created in 1985 following an agreement between the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Italian Government. It is part of a network of offices based in industrialized countries with the task to promote the industrialization of developing countries through direct investment and transfer of technologies and managerial resources.
The liaison office in Vietnam, established in 1998, has been entirely financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; it is located in Hanoi where it is presently hosted by the Italian Embassy. It has the mandate to promote the industrialization of Vietnam through Italian investment and technologies, trough training of local entrepreneurs and through assistance to local institutions responsible for industrial policies.
SERVICES OFFERED TO ITALIAN AND VIETNAMESE ENTERPRISES
The services are available to companies wishing to establish a presence in Vietnam through a direct investment or a medium-long term co-operation agreement. Commercial operations are excluded.
ALL SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE, with the exception of the draft of the feasibility study, in which case we cover 50% of all expenses including consulting fees.
